Dear guests,
After an exciting time at the Wychüefa restaurant in Niedergesteln, we were looking forward to taking on a new challenge in Sigi's home town of Salgesch.
We would like to invite you to discover the Hotel Arkanum in beautiful Salgesch, which has been run by Rita and Sigi Moreillon and our long-time and former operations assistant Melanie Colas since February 2014. Since 2020, Stefan Schwery has enriched the team as our new operations assistant, having previously worked for us as Chef du Service. Carla, our experienced Chef de Service, has also been an integral part of our team since 2014.
‘Mis Hüs - dis Hüs’ is our motto. We want you to feel at home and relax in our idyllic wine village. In addition to excellent wines, there is much more to discover. Take a look at our excursion tips under the heading ‘Salgesch’.

Great attention, friendliness & happy hours for our guests come first.
This is what we demand of ourselves and we are happy to pass this on to you.
It's nice to work in gastronomy, but it's also very tiring. Finding the right way to communicate with the guest is not always easy for our learners, but they do their best. Many thanks for your friendly support, patience and respectful interaction.
